    Ultrasound given simply to confirm pregnancy

    Description

    Provides utilize inaudible sound in the frequency range of approximately 20,000 to 10 billion cycles per second which are passed into the abdominal cavity of the mother, echo when they strike tissue, and build an anatomical picture of the developing fetus which can be inspected to monitor growth, movement and position as well as to detect structural abnormalities. Ultrasound given simply to confirm pregnancy.
